Normal-to-dry skin

Normal-to-dry skin

If you have very dry skin, you tend to have:

    • Rare outbreaks of acne
    • A dull, rough complexion with very little sheen
    • Red patches and/or flaky skin
    • Skin that feels taut
    • Greater sensitivity

Just as with normal-to-oily skin, normal-to-dry skin runs the gamut. Your skin may be normal, normal in certain areas and dry in others, or dry all over. How dry depends on a number of factors including genetics, weather, sun exposure, indoor environment, medications, hormones and your age—skin tends to get drier as we near our 50s.
